We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA and applicable Colorado accessibility requirements. We test the public experience and improve it as issues are identified.

What we support

Built for flexible ways of navigating

Keyboard access

Primary navigation, tabs, filters, dialogs, and pathway controls are designed to work without a mouse.

Clear presentation

Visible focus, strong contrast, meaningful headings, and non-color status labels support scanning and navigation.

Assistive technology

Semantic landmarks, control names, status announcements, and text alternatives support screen-reader use.

Responsive content

Pages are designed to reflow across screen sizes and support browser zoom and reduced-motion preferences.

Language access

The site includes machine translation to make exploration easier. Automated translations can contain errors and should not replace qualified review for high-impact employment, education, or benefits decisions.

Known limitations

  • Automated checks do not replace manual testing with screen readers and other assistive technologies.
  • Digital Toolkit PDFs are convenience copies and are not tagged. Their core guidance is available as accessible HTML on the Resources page.
  • External training directories and provider sites have their own accessibility practices.
