When you send site feedback

The feedback form asks for a short summary, details, the related page address, feedback type, and whether the problem blocked a task. Direct email delivery is disabled unless it is explicitly approved and configured. If direct delivery is unavailable, your email app opens a draft addressed to admin@luminancedata.org; your email app shows the sending account before you choose to send.

When approved direct delivery is enabled, name and reply email are optional. Feedback is delivered through the configured email provider to the support inbox. The application does not write feedback to a database.

Email providers, the support inbox, and your own sent-mail folder may retain messages under their settings and applicable records requirements. For a question about feedback you sent, contact admin@luminancedata.org.

Do not submit passwords, Social Security numbers, benefit or claim details, medical information, accommodation details, or other sensitive personal information. Use the official CDLE service or accessibility channel for those matters.

Site operations and optional services

  • Hosting and security: Vercel and related infrastructure may process standard request and diagnostic data such as IP address, request path, time, browser information, and errors to deliver and protect the site.
  • Feedback abuse protection: When approved direct delivery is enabled, the application converts the request's forwarding address into a one-way, process-specific hash. Only that hash, a request count, and an expiry are kept in temporary function memory for up to one hour.
  • Usage and performance: Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights measure aggregate site use and performance. Google Analytics loads only when configured.
  • Translation: Google Translate loads only after you request translation or when restoring a previously selected non-English language. It may use Google cookies; the site stores your language preference in browser storage when available.

Your choices and official notices

You may browse without sending feedback, edit or remove the page address before sending, clear browser cookies and site data, and avoid optional translation. Formal accessibility reports and accommodation requests belong in the official CDLE accessibility process.
